Welcome to Painter-Garrison’s United Methodist Church! We invite you to a blended worship service Sundays at 11 am where we praise God and listen for God’s word to us. Sunday school for all ages begins at 10 am. On Wednesdays there is a seniors group, Prayerful Seekers, which meets at 10 am at either Painter-Garrison’s UMC or its sister church, Smith’s Chapel UMC, in nearby Quinby for Bible study, games, and a brown bag lunch. Town dinners at 6 pm on Wednesdays from September through May rotate between these two churches as well with an evening Bible study following the meal. The membership is growing and has potential for future growth. Lay leadership is both effective and involved. Our lay leadership is comprised of experienced members as well as new members who are willing to take whatever training is available to help them grow and better serve the church. Stance The members of this church believe that the Bible contains all that is necessary for salvation. There is a strong desire to share the good news with our community. Evangelism is a top priority at Painter Garrisons. The spiritual life of members is growing.
Worship Sunday worship begins at 11 am. We praise and worship God in a blended worship service. The praise band, Grateful Hearts, often begins the worship service. While grounded firmly on scripture, current technologies are used to aid in understanding God’s word to us.
